An Introduction to Alumni Ventures’ Deep Tech Fund
Watch the on-demand, replay of our presentation covering one of our most popular funds, the third edition of our Deep Tech Fund, open through September 30, 2022.
In the past 5 years, deep tech companies raised more rounds than other tech companies. About one in five unicorns is a deep tech company, and it’s projected that VCs will triple allocations in this space – surpassing $200 billion by 2025.
AV’s Deep Tech Fund will invest in entrepreneurial companies solving some of the toughest and potentially most lucrative tech challenges. Learn more about the fund in a discussion with Alumni Ventures’ CEO Mike Collins and CIO Anton Simunovic.
During the session, we will discuss:
- HomePortfolio companies in previous funds like Axiom Space*, an aerospace company that provides missions to the International Space Station (ISS) while also building the new commercial space station that will replace the ISS.
- HomeThe Alumni Ventures "secret sauce" and how we approach the investment process and gain access to investments alongside established VCs.
- HomeThe importance of diversifying your investment portfolio with venture capital, even in uncertain times.
