Alumni Ventures’ sustained 219% growth over the past three years has earned the company a place on Inc. Magazine’s list of the 5000 fastest-growing private companies in the United States. Beyond the firm’s impressive growth in the face of a challenging economic landscape, the company was cited by Inc. for “making VC accessible like never before by building diversified portfolios featuring exciting, tech-driven companies.”

Since 2007, the Inc. 5000 has tracked the most successful private companies within one of the economy’s most competitive segments. The top 500 companies will be featured and profiled in Inc.’s September 2022 issue. Some of the most prominent companies in the world were previously featured on the list, including Facebook, Pandora, and Zappos.

Founded in 2014, AV has grown to become one of the most active venture firms in the world. AV’s disruptive business model leverages a network of innovation enthusiasts to democratize the venture capital asset class for individual investors and entrepreneurs. The firm has raised more than $1 billion from individual, accredited investors, which has been deployed in over 1,000 companies.

“This is further confirmation that our revolutionary investment strategy is a winning one,” said CEO and Founder Mike Collins. “Our powerful network of investors, entrepreneurs, and innovation enthusiasts is already 600,000 strong and still growing, providing a tremendous source of capital, deal flow, and portfolio assistance. We’re seizing the momentum behind this growth to provide our clients unparalleled access to startups with the potential to transform entire industries.”
