Cohort 2 — Now Accepting Applications
Learn Venture Investing by Actually Doing It

The Challenge
How do you prepare the next generation to be stewards of family capital?
Traditional investment education is theoretical. Jumping directly into large commitments is risky. Most programs teach you about investing. None put you in the seat and ask you to make the call.
The NextGen Club is a training ground where emerging family office leaders develop real investor judgment — by analyzing real deals, making real decisions, and deploying real capital alongside experienced VCs. Not a classroom. An apprenticeship with stakes that match the learning.
How It Works

Inside a Deal Drop
How You Learn to Think Like a VC
Every deal drop follows a repeatable format designed to build the habits of professional investors.
The Format
You receive a deal packet in advance — deck, terms, cap table, key metrics. You come prepared. An AV investor presents the deal thesis, and the cohort pressure-tests it together.
The goal isn’t to say yes. The goal is to develop the judgment to know why you’re saying yes or no — and to articulate it clearly.
- HomeReceive deal packet and pre-read materials
- Home60-minute live session: thesis presentation + moderated Q&A
- HomeDiligence-grade discussion: "What must be true?" and "What breaks the story?"

Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ
There is no firm quota, but the general expectation is that members invest six figures or more per year across the deals they participate in. This is a shared understanding of the level of seriousness — the club is built for people who are ready to deploy meaningful capital as part of their learning.
Expect roughly 3–4 hours per month: time to review the deal packet before the session, a one-hour live discussion, and time to write your invest/pass rationale. Biannual in-person gatherings are an afternoon session plus dinner.
Applications are reviewed by the NextGen team. Qualified candidates will be invited to a brief conversation to discuss fit, expectations, and any questions. Cohort 2 is limited to approximately 20 members.
Most programs are theoretical — case studies, lectures, simulations. This is real. You evaluate real deals, deploy real capital, and make real decisions with an intimate peer cohort. You’re learning alongside experienced VCs who invest professionally every day.
No. The program is designed for emerging family office leaders who are building their venture investing skills. Some members come with prior exposure; others are starting fresh. The structured format and VC guidance support both.
