CIO Select Investor Update

Join Alumni Ventures’ Chief Investment Officer Mark Edwards and Managing Partner Greg Baker for a closed-door update on the CIO Select Fund — including portfolio activity to date, follow-on positioning across AV’s most promising portfolio companies, and the team’s outlook on where the strategy is heading next.
In this session, Mark Edwards, Chief Investment Officer at Alumni Ventures, and Greg Baker, Managing Partner, will share a behind-the-scenes look at the CIO Select Fund — AV’s concentrated follow-on strategy designed to deploy additional capital into the highest-conviction companies already in the AV portfolio. Mark and Greg will walk through recent investment activity, how the team prioritizes follow-on opportunities, and the data and signals that drive each allocation decision.
The conversation will cover portfolio construction across funds, what the team is seeing across stages and sectors, and how CIO Select fits within AV’s broader investment platform. Mark and Greg will offer a candid view of fund performance to date, the lessons being applied as the portfolio matures, and where they see the most compelling opportunities to lean in over the coming quarters.
This session is intended for current CIO Select and Growth Fund investors, and will provide the level of transparency and detail that AV reserves for its committed LPs. Reserve your spot to hear directly from the team leading the strategy and bring any questions you’d like addressed live.
