Ron has spent his career in a variety of entrepreneurial, leadership, and business development roles. He has been an angel investor and advisor to over a dozen technology startups. Ron was Co-Founder and CEO of TravelPerk, a VC-backed travel management platform that is now a “unicorn” company with thousands of employees and customers across the globe. Prior to TravelPerk, he started the B2B division of Booking.com and before that was a consultant with McKinsey & Co. Ron began his career at Lycos, one of the web’s pioneer search engine and web portals. Ron graduated from Babson College and received his MBA from Harvard Business School. He is the author of the impact-focused Higher Purpose Venture Capital Blog.

Brittney Wade
Brittney Wade

Senior Associate, Doctors Innovate Fund

Brittney brings to her role product and operational experience from her time with enterprise and startup companies. Most recently, she worked with Trove, a Series D startup, where she led product development for the launch of Canada Goose’s first circular economy program. Brittney is a graduate of Columbia University and holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Mr. Robbie Allen is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer at Bionic Health. He leads strategy, software development, and data science at Bionic Health. He’s also Bionic’s first customer. He also serves as General Partner at Triangle Tweener Fund. He is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer at Startomatic. He served as Board Member at Klearly. He is an Angel Investor. He was a Co-Founder and served as Senior Advisor at Infinia ML. He served as Chief Executive Officer at Infinia ML. He also served as Advisor at Idea Fund Partners. He founded and served as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at Automated Insights. Prior to founding Automated Insights, he was a Distinguished Engineer, in IT at Cisco where he worked for 13 years. During his time at Cisco, he led large-scale IT architecture projects that involved overhauling Cisco’s internal infrastructure to a cloud-based solution. He managed teams of 5 to 40 people that developed complex network management software. Just before leaving the company, he designed advanced protocols for Cisco’s core router platforms. Before Cisco, he worked at IBM in the Networking Hardware Division and at Lucent in a variety of software engineering positions. He received a BS in Computer Science and a minor in Math from East Carolina University (magna cum laude). He has Master’s degrees from MIT in Engineering Management and Civil & Environmental Engineering. He is the author of ten books on a variety of technical topics from O’Reilly, Apress, and Addison-Wesley. He has been very active in the startup community for over ten years. He’s served as an advisor and mentor to numerous startups and entrepreneurs.
