Foundation Fund Final Call

Greg Baker, Executive Partner of the Foundation Fund, led an introduction to Alumni Ventures’ flagship diversified venture fund — and a clear-eyed look at how the Foundation Fund gives accredited investors a single, professionally managed vehicle to access institutional-quality venture across sectors, stages, and the broader Alumni Ventures platform.

In this session, Greg walked through the Foundation Fund’s investment thesis and how the fund is constructed — including how the team builds diversification across sectors, stages, and lead investors, what differentiates the fund from other venture access products, and how the Foundation Fund draws on Alumni Ventures’ position as one of the most active venture investors in the country. Greg shared recent portfolio activity, where the team is sharpening conviction, and how the Foundation Fund fits alongside Alumni Ventures’ other fund options.

Whether attendees were new to venture, evaluating the Foundation Fund for the first time, or already familiar with Alumni Ventures and looking to deepen their understanding, this session gave them a clear, current view of the fund’s thesis, structure, and fit within a long-term venture allocation. Watch the recording to hear directly from the leadership driving the fund forward and their responses to investor questions from the live Q&A.
