The $3 Trillion Moment: What the SpaceX, Anthropic & OpenAI IPOs Mean for Public and Private Market Investors

Join Mike Collins, Founder & CEO of Alumni Ventures and Board Chair of PrePublic Equity Partners, alongside Gray Chynoweth, CEO of PrePublic Equity Partners, and Hans Stege, Head of Investment Research at PEP, for a live conversation on what could be the most consequential private-market year in history — as SpaceX, Anthropic, and OpenAI take steps toward public listings that could introduce more than $3 trillion in new market value to public investors over a matter of months.

In this joint AV × PEP session, Mike, Gray, and Hans will walk through what the potential IPOs of SpaceX, Anthropic, and OpenAI actually mean for public and private market investors — including why the value in these companies is created before the bell (the median age at IPO has climbed from 5 years in 1999 to 14 today), why late-stage private companies now represent roughly half of all venture value, and how individual accredited investors can access this asset class through two complementary lenses: early-stage venture with Alumni Ventures, and late-stage secondaries with PEP.

Whether you’re evaluating private markets for the first time or already invested with Alumni Ventures, this session will give you a practitioners’ view — not a commentators’ one — on where the private-market opportunity is forming next, the pipeline of pre-public companies behind the marquee names, and how to build a single private-market allocation that spans the full journey from seed to IPO. Register to hear Mike, Gray, and Hans directly, and bring your questions to the live Q&A.
