Voice AI: Why Talking to Software is Becoming a Big Business

Join Lucy Friedmann, Principal at Alumni Ventures, and Mike Collins, CEO and Founder of Alumni Ventures, as they explore why voice is emerging as a powerful interface for artificial intelligence — and where new business opportunities may form as talking to software becomes increasingly natural and useful.

Lucy and Mike will examine how advances in voice AI are changing the way people interact with software across consumer and enterprise applications. They’ll discuss the shift from rigid voice commands toward more capable conversational experiences, the business models emerging around this transition, and where investors may find opportunities as voice becomes embedded in more products and workflows.

Whether you’re tracking the evolution of AI interfaces, evaluating emerging technology markets, or interested in how voice could reshape software adoption, this session will provide a practical view of the category’s growth potential. Register to hear Lucy and Mike’s perspective on why voice AI may become a significant new layer of the software economy.
