Webinar
Welcome to Chestnut Street Ventures

Join Brian Keil, Managing Partner of Chestnut Street Ventures, for an introduction to Alumni Ventures’ Penn alumni-affiliated venture fund — and a clear-eyed look at how accredited investors can gain structured exposure to the founders emerging from one of the country’s most prolific research and innovation ecosystems.
In this session, Brian Keil, Managing Partner of Chestnut Street Ventures, will walk through the fund’s investment thesis and how it leverages its connection to the University of Pennsylvania to source, evaluate, and back exceptional founders. The conversation will cover what sets Penn apart as a consistent founder-producing institution — the Wharton–engineering crossover that produces rare operator-founders, the medical and life sciences pipeline anchored by Penn Medicine, and a global alumni network with deep concentration across finance, technology, and healthcare — and how the Chestnut Street team translates that access into a diversified portfolio for investors.
Whether you’re a Penn alum, a current Alumni Ventures investor, or evaluating university-connected venture for the first time, this session will give you a clear, current view of how Chestnut Street Ventures is constructed and where the fund is heading next. Register to hear directly from Brian and bring your questions to the live Q&A.
