Venture Associate
The Venture Associate role at Alumni Ventures is an entry-level position designed for smart, driven, AI-native professionals eager to break into venture capital. Associates are embedded on investment teams (iTeams), working directly with experienced investors across all aspects of the venture process. Their mission is simple: make senior VCs more productive. That means owning research, helping with diligence, managing data, tracking portfolio activity, and generally anticipating what needs to be done—then doing it well and fast.
We’re looking for people who are hungry to learn and ready to work. You’ll need strong communication skills, analytical horsepower, and comfort using AI and modern tools to get things done. No two days are the same, and the pace is fast. In return, you’ll get hands-on training, exposure to hundreds of startups, and a chance to grow quickly in one of the most dynamic firms in venture capital. This is a launchpad, not a job.
Special Assistant
The Special Assistant role at Alumni Ventures is a unique entry-level opportunity for smart, AI-native individuals eager to launch their careers by working directly with AV executives or senior teams. This is a high-exposure, high-impact role designed to make senior leaders more productive—through special project, automation development, organization project, and clear, fast execution. You’ll be embedded with a decision-maker, learn how the business runs, and have a front-row seat to entrepreneurial leadership in action.
We’re looking for curious, ambitious AI Natives who are excited to learn, solve problems, and move fast. You’ll use AI tools to streamline tasks, analyze data, and improve workflows. You’ll need excellent judgment, strong communication and AI skills, and a bias for action. This role is ideal for recent grads who want to make a real contribution from day one while building a toolkit for future leadership, operating roles, or entrepreneurship.
