Canvas is a construction robotics company aiming to automate drywall installation. Its proprietary system uses a modified JLG lift, robotic arm, and sensors backed by machine learning.

How We’re Involved: $24 million Series B led by Menlo Ventures


Cohere is making natural language AI accessible to all developers and businesses, even those without massive compute resources or machine learning knowledge. Cohere’s state-of-the-art natural language models are accessible via a private, easy-to-use interface available through API as a managed service or cloud ML platforms.

How We’re Involved: $250 million growth round, with participation from several established VCs and enterprises:

  • Index Ventures, a London-based, multi-stage VC firm focused on AI, e-commerce, fintech, gaming, mobility, and security investments
  • Inovia Capital, a Montreal-based, multi-stage VC firm focused on investing in B2B and B2C SaaS companies and marketplaces
  • Nvidia, a leading GPU developer for AI, HPC, gaming, creative design, autonomous vehicles, and robotics
  • Salesforce, a leading cloud-based software company for sales, service, and marketing teams

FarmWise develops farming robots to facilitate autonomous cultivation and organic farming with the mission of building sustainable farming at scale. It captures and analyzes crop data, takes optimal crop-specific interventions, and helps farmers produce.

How We’re Involved: $14.5 million Series A led by Calibrate Ventures and $45 million Series B led by Fall Line Capital and Middleland Capital, with participation from GV


Slingshot Aerospace synthesizes data from multiple sources to provide a real-time digital landscape of space. Its orbital collision avoidance program connects commercial, government, and civil customers on one platform to better design, manage, and safeguard their satellites and other assets.

How We’re Involved: $34.6 million Series A led by ATX Venture Partners and Draper Associates, with participation from Embedded Ventures and Valor Equity Partners


Unlearn.AI is a computational science company that builds machine learning platforms to create biological digital twins for the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. Using historical datasets and disease-specific machine-learning models, Unlearn generates virtual placebo patients, created from actual patient baseline data in clinical studies.

The fund will be invested over ~12-18 months with a large reserve (~20-25%) for follow-on opportunities. AI Fund 2 was oversubscribed, and we had to establish a waitlist to accommodate interest.
