Deep Tech Fund 2 has added several new companies to the portfolio. Read about the latest investments below.

  • Appaegis, a secure, agentless, zero-trust solution connecting authorized users and devices to enterprise applications in a cloud-native environment
  • Cambrian, a company developing medicines and therapies targeting the biological drivers of aging
  • Divergent, a platform for automakers to design and build new cars quickly while lowering capital investment, production costs, and their environmental footprint
  • Epicore Biosystems, a company whose wearable, patch-like analytics solutions noninvasively measure sweat biomarkers, skin health, and physiology in real time
  • Looking Glass, a developer of holographic light field displays that enable enterprises and individuals to create and showcase 3D designs
  • Qredo, a company leveraging a decentralized custodian protocol to deliver unique solutions for securing and trading digital assets
  • Radian Aerospace, a developer of low-Earth space systems aimed at giving commercial and government customers easy access to orbital space planes

Deep Tech Fund 2 Portfolio Spotlight

The market for holographic displays is growing; by 2024, it’s anticipated to reach $2.5B. However, existing 3D hardware for holographic technology requires bulky headgear, inconvenient UX systems, and other burdensome technology. In addition, there are major performance and cost issues that prevent widespread adoption. AV portfolio company Looking Glass Factory is shifting this paradigm with its fully functional holographic displays. Portfolio Update: Rigetti Computing

Earlier this year, we updated investors on Deep Tech Fund 1 portfolio company Rigetti Computing. The full-stack quantum computing company has completed its reverse merger transaction with Supernova Partners Acquisition Company II (“Supernova”). It is now listed publicly on the Nasdaq exchange under the name Rigetti Computing, Inc. (ticker symbol RGTI).1

Currently, most of our holdings are subject to a 180-day lockup. Taking into consideration AV’s Policies for Potential Exits, we will be considering our exit approach as this date comes closer. We will update investors again as more information becomes available.
