The Yard Portfolio Update

Legacy is a direct-to-consumer healthcare platform that is developing methods to enable at home collection, remote testing, and long-term cryogenic storage of sperm. The company was founded by CEO Khaled Kteily (MPP ’16), who serves on the Alumni Council for the Center for Public Leadership at Harvard’s Kennedy School. The Yard invested in Legacy’s recent $25 million Series B led by Bain Capital Ventures, with participation from FirstMark Capital, Section 32, TQ Ventures, and Valor Equity Partners. Alumni Ventures was an early investor in Legacy, participating in the company’s $3.5 million seed round in 2019 alongside Section 32, Y Combinator, and Bain.
