Colin Van Ostern first joined Alumni Ventures in 2019 and moved to London in 2025 to help launch AV’s global network in Europe, the Middle East & Africa, after previously serving as President & COO of Alumni Ventures in the US. Colin is a business leader with 25+ years leading innovative ventures across the private, public and nonprofit sectors, including in finance, higher education, consumer goods and government. In the US, Colin served as a publicly-elected executive for the state of New Hampshire. He holds an MBA from Dartmouth College and a BA in International Affairs from The George Washington University, and currently supports AV’s work as a senior consultant with Deel. Colin lives in London with his wife and two teenage sons.
