116 Street Portfolio Updates

Slingshot Aerospace fuses data from satellites, drones, ground sensors, etc., to provide a dynamic picture of real-time conditions to help governments and commercial space organizations make rapid, data-driven, mission-critical decisions in space. 116 Street Ventures deployed capital in the company’s $25 million Series A-1 led by Draper Associates and ATX Venture Partners. This most recent round of capital will go toward commercializing new products and hiring new employees.

Aquabyte’s aquaculture monitoring systems use cameras and machine learning to improve fish farming efficiency. 116 Street Ventures deployed capital in the company’s recently announced $25 million Series B led by SoftBank Ventures Asia. This round of funding will help Aquabyte further scale its business, monitor more species in more countries, and help fish farms sustainably and efficiently feed the world.
