MANCHESTER, NH, MAY 16, 2024Alumni Ventures (AV), one of the world’s most active venture capital firms, is a recent investor in Graft. The company built an Intelligence Layer that helps clients enhance business operations and build better products. Graft has raised just over $15 million in funding from established VCs like Alumni Ventures and GV.

Graft’s platform offers “AI infrastructure as a service,” making it much easier for companies without highly skilled machine learning teams to leverage the transformational power of AI. Within minutes, teams can implement Graft’s end-to-end solutions for knowledge management, search and recommendations, customer analytics, content moderation, and more.

Adam Oliner conceived the idea behind Graft during his tenure as Head of Machine Learning at Slack. He appeared on AV’s Tech Optimist podcast to explain how Graft has democratized access to AI that was once only available to tech giants.

See video policy below.

“We’re transforming the landscape of business operations by making powerful AI tools accessible to companies of all sizes,” said Adam Oliner, who serves as Graft’s CEO. “Our platform removes the barriers of infrastructure and expertise, allowing businesses to harness the full potential of AI.”

Graft is using its funding to enhance the capabilities of its platform and expand its market presence, ensuring that businesses worldwide can benefit from efficient, AI-driven solutions. AV’s investment in the company was sponsored by the firm’s AI Fund team, who view Graft as a burgeoning leader in the enterprise AI space.

”At Alumni Ventures, we believe AI is potentially the most disruptive tech advancement of our generation,” said AV Founder and CEO Mike Collins, who hosted the conversation with Oliner on AV’s Tech Optimist podcast. “We’re excited to support Graft’s efforts to make this transformative technology accessible to the types of young, innovative startups we invest in every day.”
