Alumni Ventures TV: Virdee
Hear from Branigan Mulcahy, the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Virdee — a SaaS company providing virtual reception and customer engagement software that helps building owners manage and simplify access and authentication experiences for residents, visitors, and property staff. The company’s technology provides automated front-of-house workflow, which saves staff time, reduces friction, and virtually eliminates fraud and other chargebacks that frequently consume a certain amount of revenue for hotel owners. In this video, Branigan shares what is unique about Virdee, what problem the company is solving, what has surprised him since launching Virdee, what lessons he has learned as the CEO, and the company’s ask from the AV community.
Ring Ventures Portfolio News and Updates
Bacon is a virtual marketplace solution for gig workers and freelancers searching for work that fits their personal schedules. The platform also enables companies seeking temporary independent contractors to fill open shifts. Ring Ventures deployed capital in the company’s $8 million Series A-1 alongside new investors Grayhawk Capital, 2.0 Ventures, Elevate Capital, Hall Venture Partners, and Assure Syndicates. The funding will be used to hire key team members and expand to 40 more markets in the next 18-24 months.
