The U.S. Air Force’s Office of Small Business Programs “recognizes that U.S. military veterans have provided invaluable service to the nation in times of peace and war.” The department’s Small Business Innovation Research program invests more than $1 billion each year in small business technology and offers special services for women and veterans who are socially and economically disadvantaged.
