Traditionally, companies have relied on conventional strategies such as offsite meetings, workshops, surveys, and manager rollouts to improve employee engagement and development. However, organizational changes can be vague, making employees feel like strategic discussions are simply “empty talks” with no tangible effects. As a result, nearly 53% of workers are unengaged, resulting in considerable turnover — with a record 4.5 million workers quitting in November 2021.

Technological advancements are creating jobs that previously did not exist, including app developers, cloud computing specialists, and social media managers. Unfortunately, while these new positions are aiding the economy by creating more jobs, there’s a significant gap between the labor market supply and the business demand for these skills. By 2030, there will be a global shortage of more than 85 million tech workers, representing $8.5 trillion in lost annual revenue.

The average U.S. household spends $2,060 on their utilities each year, while the annual commercial bill is around $7,771. Many individuals and businesses have minimal insight into how those numbers are calculated and — more importantly — how to bring them down. Many factors impact energy efficiency, such as location, use of resources, and the size of the building. Consumers don’t always have the knowledge or resources needed to take meaningful steps toward saving on energy costs. Additionally, many individuals don’t own homes that allow the install of clean energy installation such as rooftop solar panels.

Immigrating to the U.S. is a notoriously cumbersome and expensive process. Some individuals end up paying thousands of dollars in steep lawyer fees for professional guidance. Others try to manage their applications themselves and miss pertinent paperwork and information. On average, it takes three years to receive a green card.

Accurate tracking of a student’s progress towards graduation is an essential, basic task for all schools. However, for school counselors — who are often in charge of tracking graduation requirements — it is actually a highly manual, time-consuming, and error-prone process. Current tracking methods involve counselors printing out binders full of student data and performing audits by hand, resulting in human error and potential bias.
